Molly Flagtail Has Left the Building
When Molly FLagtail auditioned for the show at our live audition event at Ken McArthur’s JVAlert, we thought it would be one of those small things that adds character to the site and gives everyone a chuckle.
Somewhere along the line Molly slipped a second account in on us and threw up a new audition. Some astute contestants realized that Molly’s low “2″ base score would relegate her to the bottom of the pack barring a K9 miracle. So Molly’s accounts suddenly started acquiring super votes - and a lot of them.
It was brought to our attention that Molly had a sudden sure in super votes (just over 30 in a single day).
When one person casts a super vote they have to select a second and third beneficiary. This was designed to prevent one person from buying their way to the top. Obviously, setting a dog as the second AND the third beneficiary was a loophole in the intent of the system.
To seal that loophole, we have removed both of Molly’s videos from the system. Fair notice, Molly will forever be the unofficial TAC mascot.
Have you fixed that loophole so no one can use it to their advantage? i.e.: I buy someone else a super vote and then apply the other two to myself? If you haven’t fixed that, would it be legal to do?
Not that I would do it, just wondering if it would be allowed if some other crafty contestant has already figured it out…
From the beginning the system has not allowed you to select the same profile for both the second and third beneficiaries for the super votes.
The difference in Molly’s situation was that she actually had two valid profiles in the system with different auditions on each one. Crafty little K9…

Actually Molly had no idea that sending in her new vid would create another account and she will lick your face in apology if you want.
She kept asking how to get a password to put up her new video and didn’t get an answer, so she just tried sending it up. I even wrote to ask for the second profile to be removed but to no avail.
She’s happy to be the mascot for sure!
